“DTGO Hearts United” Gives Aid Packages in Bangkok
12 May 2020, Bangkok – Buddharaksa Foundation and The Givers Network presented aid packages under “DTGO Hearts United” to people in need in Bangkok.
The Givers Network has developed an online register to help coordinate assistance to people affected by the COVID-19 lockdown. The foundations gave aid packages to help 80 people in Bangkok.
“I was a sales assistant in a shopping mall,” said a recipient. “But after COVID-19, I was forced to take unpaid leave. So I contacted The Givers Network and would like to give thanks for the help.”
Buddharaksa Foundation thanks The Givers Network for providing great support by helping connect with projects. The foundation, and all those involved in the project, aim to assist people affected by the crisis and reduce their household expenses so we can overcome this outbreak together.
The Givers Network is a social initiative founded in 2018 under the principle "Together We Can Give Better" with 3 core elements: seeing more (better awareness of needs), learning well (improved solutions), giving better (achieve greater results).
